#1 I'm with you on the exhaustive nature of present tense. I've read stuff where it really works, and sometimes it just really doesn't. I doubt I'll end up either brave or persistent enough to do so, especially since I get angry that I have to live my life in present tense (lol). But thanks for the feedback
