i woke up this morning to find every single one of
my 2,113 songs i've been continually adding to
my collection on my computer for two years

GONE.

the folders are still there under "my music"
but there are no wav or MP3 or audio
files ANYWHERE in any of them.

i've looked EVERYWHERE on the desktop

its a recovery program. See if you can use that to get those mp3s back running. They aren't gone, just misplaced. They're still on your HD. Maybe not all of them, but most.
