Awesome. Okay. Well I have a bit of a Tomoe/Neptune little tidbit I can write up later sort of guiding them into their meeting with Lady and Hotaru. Does that sound okay? I'm running on a low amount of sleep. I might not be making sense. >>
Forget all previous statements. Desai was hell. And Neptune meant that quite literally, as she thought about it.
Her soldier uniform was torn and tattered, with a nice big slit at the side of her leg. It was a darned good thing that it regenerated itself with every transformation. Hah, if it had been for that, she would never have been able to explain her laundry.
As it was now, she dragged the Professor along. At least he was unconscious now and not spouting some other nonsense. He didn't know who she was. Not really. Right?
Her face streaked with dirt, Sailorneptune looked up at the road ahead. Uh oh. There was a figure in the distance. She wasn't sure how much more fighting she could take at this point. Battles were a hundred times easier with Uranus by her side.
"Who's there?!" the Sea Soldier yelled ahead, straightening her posture.
Neptune's ears perked at the sound of the voice coming from ahead. A human voice. Sighing, she muttered a thanks to her Guardian under her breath, grateful that it wasn't another infected creature.
"Get through to where?" she hollered back, limping forward. She had a strong grip on the Professor's hand as his arm was draped across her shoulders. "There's nothing this way but more corpses." She was coming closer now, enough to make out the two figures. It was indeed a young woman with a child. Thank God that wasn't some sort of trick.
Sailorneptune looked down at Lady, examining her features. Cautiously, her blue eyes sauntered over towards the fallen girl. A gasp nearly escaped her throat, but she was able to hold it back.
"Is that..." No, she couldn't say Hotaru. That would link her Soldier form to the girl. And she couldn't have that. Not now. "Who is this girl?" her attention turned back to Lady, her eyes now narrowing.
