[ooc; god, i hope i do him right X_x;]

No, probably not. Victor only briefly met the younger woman, who seemed unnaturally hostile towards anyone at the moment. And...that could explain quite a bit. At least for Victor's sake. But what difference did it make? The former high lord wasn't interested in a social life now or anything else that might veer him off from utzlizing the last bit of the demon god's presence in him.

No one was going to stop him, not even his former best friend. Note the former. As for him, Victor didn't want to have the least bit to do with him, and he was already about to leave in the meantime, to avoid the young woman's scorn. She was drawing too much attention to him as it is.

Just a little possessed? Maybe...or Victor was certain he was fine. He was sure also that he wasn't himself, handling Siela's death in his own special way -- it wasn't a good way ( ... )

(( ooc; pfft. yeah right! you're like the awesomest! ))

All right, so maybe stopping a man possessed by a demon God wasn't the easiest task. But of course, that didn't mean that he was going to give up any sooner, or -- at all.

But why did Victor have to look so smug and confident? Damn. It was like he knew something Sieg didn't. And the knight hated being left in the dark.

"Yeah," the redhead replied, lifing his sword up between the two of them, pointing directly at Victor Delacroix. "For you to tone down the crazy around here, Delacroix," he spat the other's name, his head actually slightly twitching to the side as it escaped his lips.

Only having someone confront him over his last...well, to be nice, it was an 'arguement' of the sort. Any sort of confrontation over the two ogmas raised his amusment, with the young woman he barely met for two minutes. But with Sieg? It curved his anger upwards, and it could get worse now.

Yes, he really did have to be smug and confident around him. Sieg couldn't handle any sort of magic thrown at him, so what made him so confident he could take him on?

Upon seeing the sword, Victor just turned around, arms open, "Is that it?" He continued on a slow pace, just waiting for any wrong move or delay in movement, "You're just as bad as that girl, Sieg -- too stubborn. You were never strong enough to begin with. What makes you think the Order of Saint Overia is thinking straight to send you to me?"

This didn't do anything to stop his sadistic humor popping up. Oh, he could care less about the 'crazyiness' or whatever they called it. This place was teeming with darkness -- not just from him.

Of course, Sieg was never really 'the thinker.' He was more prone to rushing head on into things, then attempting to beat his way out of it. Of course, that only really worked when you have back-up, right? And he hadn't had that in more than three years...

What did he mean is that it?! The knight took a half step back. He wasn't going to answer his former friend's questions. He didn't want to lose himself in anger. He had to try and talk some sense into the man.

"Why did you do it, Victor?" his eyes narrowed while his sword remained unmoving. "Why did you kill Clovis? Just to steal some old book?" And why is the Superior so uptight about it?
