Nono! Don't say that! Take as long as you need! I'll still be floating around here.

The words were heard, surprisingly, to the passing ear of a wounded young man. Teetering and tottering, Vergil Nesmith attempted to weave his shell-shocked self through the strange streets, bleeding from wounds that were trying to heal, but after the deprivation of food and sleep, it simply wasn't happening.

But those words... it wasn't the words that so much registered, than that voice; distantly, in the back of his mind. He knew that voice. He knew it, but he couldn't register it.

Sight darkening, Vergil attempted to find the person, and was only able to tell he was close as a familiar aroma filled the one nostril of his nose that hadn't ruptured. Unfortunately, that aroma was lost, as a momentary black out had the staggering, wounded young man falling right near the summoner, sprawling on the ground.

Exhaling, a small smile made its way across Yuna's lips. There were remnants of tears in the corner of her eyes, but they hadn't fallen from their safehold this time. Maybe this was getting easier, just maybe.

At the sound of something behind her, the young girl turned around quickly, frightened by the thought of it being another mutilated body. Those images certainly wouldn't be leaving her soon. Gasping as she faced the figure fully, her fears seemed to be confirmed. Another body...

The brunette chanted a small prayer to herself as she went through the motions of Yevon's prayer. Yes, from the looks of his wounds, she would have to send this one, too.

Yuna stepped forward, and bent down to the ground. Her two-toned eyes widened as she drew in a sharp breath. It -- it couldn't be. "... Vergil?" she wasn't even sure that she had spoken his name aloud. But being this close, it was impossible to deny! It was -- "Vergil!" she cried, panic fluttering into her heart. She leaned forward, taking his head in her hands. "Vergil!"
