Yuna and Rikku
desaiuniversity

Okay, maybe this wasn’t so hard.

The young apprentice summoner trudged forward, staff in hand. Actually, right now it was proving to be a little more of a walking stick. Being new to the area, she had absolutely no idea of how to get around, aside from walking. That was probably the least sacrilegious of all the things around here, anyway. All of the machina… it was so overwhelming!

But you had to get over overwhelming things easily, if you wanted to get anywhere on your pilgrimage, or so Yuna kept telling herself.

She hadn’t really thought much about how long it would take to get to Mayra. Just keeping walking and maybe you’ll get there, you know? Just like how no one really know the road past the Calm Lands. So many Summoners had lost their way there… the small brunette had to imagine what her own feelings might be when the time cam around. But her father hadn’t faltered, so she would make it so that she wouldn’t either.

The first test she wanted herself to undergo, was to prove to herself that she didn’t have to be anyone’s burden along the way. Of course she would ask Lulu and Wakka to be her guardians when the time came… And Kimahri was definitely a shoe-in. Maybe he even wanted to see his home a little? She mused. But even if everyone was there… she still needed to be sure that she could handle herself in battle. So with her Rod of Wisdom in hand, she went forward.

She’d heard rumours of a forgotten Fayth having been stolen a thousand years ago, during the time of the great Machina War. And if there was a Temple of Yevon in Desai… there was always the slightest chance that it could be the place. Although that was highly unlikey. There were still many temples in Spira, in small villages what had no Fayth. Surely the forgotten Fayth would still be in Spira. The Thieves’ wouldn’t have jumped worlds…

Uh oh, had she taken a wrong turn? Yuna stood still, turning about in a circle to see if she could somehow remember the way from looking at the unfamiliar territory. Oh what had that map said? If only she hadn’t left it in the common area, in case someone else had wanted to use it…

“E-Excu-“ she pulled back, to keep herself from reaching out to someone. The people passing didn’t even seem to notice her, much less hear her small plea for attention. “H-Hello?” She was getting no where fast…
