Two of your made mine(Bloc Party and Decemberists)

And yep, the Bloc Party album is amazing. It kinda sucks that they got so much hype and media attent ion because it lead to heaps of kids that i know saying how overrated they are. But nah, i agree with you. One of the best albums of the year. Honestly cant say that i skip any song when i listen to it. But plans is the one i've sighed over the most.
Engine driver is my fav Decemberists song as well. The song is just gorgeous. So is "we both go down together"

Yeah, it does kind of suck, but I don't care I like it and thats what matters. Also I'll have to check that Decemberist's song out, I couldn't find it when I downloaded them. Thanks for the input.

Jonathon! I love your list. Its actually a really really really good listing of the best albums of the year. It spans many genres, and I am just really impressed with it. None of your albums made my list, but from your reviews and descriptions, I definitely have interest in listening to most of the albums on your list (which rarely happens with me and year-end lists, since I always feel that if I don't have it by now then I missed out and might as well and wait until next time to catch the wave before it crashes). Anyway, take a look at my list if you would like to, although I am warning you we definitely have quite different tastes in music so you may not find much on there that you like. Anyway, just thought I would tell you how awesome your list was and that I hope you have had a good holiday and such and that I will ttyl!

I hope you check on this, but I really am too, but I understand that it's something you need to do, even though I wish we could still have a relationship, I understand, I really hope that it all works out though.
