I think you're doing the right thing. People in my uni, when it comes to highschool, always say "omg i had liek teh best class ever omgzordz we had liek sew much fun <33333!!!!11", and I'm the only one to say "yeah, I pretty much hated everyone's guts because they were back-stabbing, superficial bitches".

Also, your own party sounds much better than their party. &hearts
