Greengages, crabapples and other under appreciated fruit.

Why is it so difficult to get hold of greengages? I can get rhubarb in a few places, but crabapples and rowan berries i have to pick wild if i want any. If i can find them. Rowan isnt too bad, but im yet to locate any good crabapple trees near me.

Other half says its because they are posionous. They aren't.

I was just thinking this morning that I haven't had greengages in forever, I just never see them on sale.

Plenty of rhubarb this year, thankfully. I do love my rhubarb.
