So the drinking age should be 18. I've decided. I'm not a huge fan of alcohol or anything but if you're considered an adult and capable of making your own decisions at 18, wouldn't it make sense to also be considered responsible enough to make your own decisions regarding drinking? Actually, the reason the drinking age is at 21 is because people don't fully develop until they are 21, even if you're 18 you may still be growing or still in a developemental stage in your mind or body. So the age is 21 because that's the age when your body can fully take alcohol with little or no damage. People who say it's because of alcohol-related accidents are wrong. Well, that's part of the reason, but that's not the main reason.

At the warped tour there was this stand with this group that lobbies for youth rights like lower voting age and no curfues. I started talking to one of the reps and he told me that there are only 3 other countries in the world that have a drinking age of over 18, and they are singapore, malaysia, and ukraine.
