Yet again, I agree entirely with everything you said. Most of the designs are pretty awesome, having The Rock as Cliffjumper was just brilliant... killing the guy within 10 mins was definitely not.
And 'underwhelming' is the exact word I used to describe both Prime and Megatron's voices XD Megatron sounds less like a scary villain and more like a creepy old man, and as you said, Prime is too boy scout ALL the TIME. It's dumb and fake. The kids suck... and I don't even know why they're there; they've been given an extremely flimsy excuse for it. In G1 the aliens needed help getting used to Earth -- in this one they've been there for ages already. Even in the Bay movies the humans were needed to help track down the Allspark -- in this they're just there to irritate Ratchet because that one douche sat on some bike that wasn't his. The hell?

Yeah. I'm a bit underwhelmed so far. There's just no life to this series, and it seems like such a Bay knockoff, complete with arrogant, angry, useless government agents. Even the platform bit is the same. The movies were horrendous, so I wish the writers would stop trying to emulate them.
One episode to go and I'm making stranglely fingers at the kids. They are the worst. I wasn't that impressed with The Rock as CJ. He sounded just as bland as he always does. Prime, I agree totally. Cullen is way too heroic and Bayie for me. I am loving Megatron. Welker said he was going to do something a bit different and I think he did it well. Starscream too. Ratchet rocks. Arcee is great. Bulkhead... he's Animated Bulkhead, a character I really liked, I'm just holding my breath hoping they don't ruin him. I loved the scene where he tell's *ick*Miko to turn her head before ripping out the guts of the ?drone. However, there are tons of things that are just making me cringe. Small things, like introducing something that conveniently solves the problem without any foreshadowing at all. This is happening way too often. Honestly, I'm not sure who this show is aimed at. It's violent, the language is questionable for the younger crowd, but the kids must appeal to someone because even my son hates them. And I'm rambling. I
