If you haven't decided what to do with your charitable giving dollars lately, please consider helping the flooded main branch of Louisville's library. Or, if cuddly is more your style, think about helping out Louisville Metro Animal Services, whose facility was also flooded.

The worst flood in 130 years, according to WHAS news down here. Scary. On the other hand, it wasn't the flood of 1937 that took out all of downtown for weeks. But then, Uof L and several hospitals, and the Iroquois Ampitheatre have millions of dollars in damages. On the other hand, we remained high and dry. Huzaah! On the other hand, the animals living at the Fairgrounds wouldn't agree that they were totally dry. On the other hand, my friends who live up the street from U of L were never touched by the rising tides. The truth of a situation is never simple. Pray for us! Donate to the animals! Donate to the libraries! Volunteer with clean-up (we are)! Don't worry too much. **hugs** ^ ^
