Hi Alice, I just wanted to let you know that being gone get's easier with time. I'm not going to ramble on like I have in the past so you don't have to worry. One thing that helps with being gone are phone calls and also getting physical mail. The mail really helped me since I could and still can only make a phone call once a week. Just keep in mind that your friends and family are here for you. You also have Caleb and Jeff there if you need someone to talk to. Caleb's already been thru it and Jeff is going to be going through it just like you so you can always talk with him. I've been away from home for 57 days now so if you want to talk with me about the later stages of home-sickness is like I would gladly do so. Talking about it with other people has helped me a lot too. Like talking with Kristi and Missy and Jessica and stalking their deadjournals has really helped me even though I've been here for a while now. So just keep in touch with your family and things will get a little better everyday. Hope you like it there eventually ( ... )

Oh YAY from Alice, and I can't believe you've left us/leaving us already! I bet you are going to have some AWESOME times--especially since you are going to such an awesome college :D Have fun, and leave us comments sometimes! :D

Dude, you are a lot stronger than you think you are. ALL of us that have left home thus far has done the tramatic crying (and you've got about a week of it ahead of you, just so you know). But trust me, after that first week, you won't be able to think about home. Except for the occational lapses, but don't take those as a bad thing. Remember home as a comforting thought, not as an alternate to a bad situation. Love you lots. Just call me if you ever need to talk (e-mail me if you need the number to my dorm room). *Hug* *Kiss on the cheek* Buck up and stop worrying about worrying.
