It's a special day here at Tenzo Towers: I participate in a meme!

I may be about to reveal to myself just how few regular readers I have. Oh well. It's been so much fun reading everyone else's, I felt selfish not to at least try to offer my own.

Fic Commentary Meme

The deal is, you comment here with something that I've written that you'd like me to annotate/give commentary on, sort of like a DVD special feature. ( Read more... )

This is tough! I am tempted to request "Do You Remember the First Time?" simply because I read it recently and it's a stand-alone. But what I really want to know is about your inclusion of "The Scarlet Letter" in "Touching Time" and how that informed your work in general.

Will do! And I hope my answers to your inquiries aren't incredibly lame :)

Can I change my mind? I somehow missed Meaning & Memory when you first posted it and just read it over my morning coffee. WOW. Would you consider doing the chapter where AltTen has drinks with the grad student instead? You went such an interesting place with his character. It made me simultaneously want to hit and cuddle him. That takes talent!

No problem, your order is hereby changed :) And I'm glad you enjoyed that one. It didn't really come out totally right in the end and I think I sort of made people want to hit me with things before I made it all better in the final chapter.

I'll take Touching Time as it's been freed up. I've been trying to parse the "Time" business for ages.

You gotta pick a chapter, ma'am. Or did you mean the epilogue?

Or, er, the Scarlet Letter chapter?

Scarlet Letter chapter, as it's still one of my favorite novels, which is odd as I dislike American literature normally.

What an awesome treat. I would love to read commentary on Chapter 8 of Flowers on Air. The part where she tells the Doctor "You were my dream." That gets me all choked up.
