Jim, I am so sorry you are going through such a rough time of it. If I could wave a magic wand and let you know that you are an amazing, awesome person in spite of (or maybe because of?) whatever is causing you all this pain, I would. But I can't.
I do want to ask, though: is there some sort of support the military can offer you regarding these issues you are having? Maybe you could look into that for yourself, because it seems like a pretty heavy burden you're shouldering, and I don't think you should have to (or should) try to do that alone.
i'm sorry you're not doing well hun. i'm right there with you though, and more than willing to offer a shoulder of support. call me sometime, we'll get drinks and rent a bad movie and laugh at how stupid people are... or something like that... just know i'm here for you if you need it!
AHEM. i believe you know my phone number. when i see you tomorrow (which i hope i do), you'll get an extra 'specially big hug. you know i'm here if you need anything.
Jim, you've probably seen more in a year than most of us will see in our lifetimes. Adjusting to the "real world" (and it's a bit ironic to consider American life "real") will take time and lots of patience. I know you have been different since you've come back.
Maybe you should find someone to talk to about this. Know that you don't have to go through this alone. There has to be options for you to express your grief. I pray, dear friend, you find them.
