They do. And if I were just a reader of the story I'd probably be as frustrated as anyone else and want to hit them across the head as well. Or bash them together.

OMG! That must be very painful for Greg. I do hope he is ok. But I guess we have to wait for part 3 to know for sure. Wow! What a cliffie!! :D

Yes, I should imagine it was a bit painful, lol. Glad you're enjoying it so far, the next part will be up soon *she says as she lazes about on summer holiday* I think he'll be okay. I haven't turned quite sadistic yet although the possibilities of trying it out...

Hurting Greg is fun, isn't it? I assume this is just a temporary setback... though I have to admit, I kept waiting for the suspect to walk in on their emotional argument. Crime scene = not the best place for a relationship discussion.

It's very fun indeed *grins* I always seem to find myself writing angst because it's a lot more satisfying and challenging to do. I was tempted to bring the suspect in on the arguement or maybe bring him in later. Cause crime scenes aren't the best places to bring your person life. We'll see. I'll cook something up ;)
