Okay. All I can assume is that I'm cried out from watching way too many tear-jerker movies lately, because that's got to be the only explanation why I'm not bawling my eyes out right now (in a totally good but painful way). That was an amazing read with an amazing twist, and...wow. Yeah. Gods, poor John, and poor Rodney, dying alone. Definitely worth the time to read.

Amazing and very much in character: Sheppard is really that stupid in canon and I was wondering why McKay seemed so out-of-character, so the fact that he was just a hallucination borne of guilt and grief makes a lot of sense.

This is a great story, thanks for sharing!

Having a twist was the only way I could make Rodney and John so out of character in such as drastic setting. I was trying to get across how the mind can play tricks on people and how we perceive people in certain situations.
