I just wanted you to know how much I enjoyed this series. It really kept me guessing up until this last chapter. I loved your take on the characters- the idea that Dean would sacrifice his soul to imprison Cas/save others and Cas would sacrifice his grace to save Dean has such poetry. Terrific stuff! (oh, and your sphinx was way cool!)

The ending was bittersweet but I'm hoping that once his anger dies down, Dean decides to turn the car around, finds Cas, and they start to rebuild their relationship. That's my story and I'm sticking to it, lol.

Beautiful, surreal, angsty but not entire without hope - just the way I like it! I loved the dreamlike skipping between scenes, the description of the place that turned out to be, in a sense, Dean's soul, and I love that every different version of Dean was actually just one side of him and the way things would have gone if this or that particular aspect had been allowed to rule! I also found the sphinx hilariously bitchy and annoying and a wonderful contrast to Cas' desperation and irritation.

Loved your Cas, all your Deans, and adored Sam for that sweet little scene at the end. And the last line was perfect!
