I started my summer job today. I am working at Rice Hope Plantation assisting the general manager Jim Clark in planting corn in the old rice fields. I just got back from ICSBEP 2007 in Chicago. I dressed like this and hung out with people like this, and they eventually reviewed my evaluation from last summer. More extensive update when I get back from Atlanta in a few days.

There was a rumor that the 7th Harry Potter book was leaked. Turns out it was just a fan-fiction someone had written very well, so someone slapped the title on it, took out all the disclaimers, and shopped it around like it was the real deal. B. Hussein Obama gave a great speech on Saturday. I found myself agreeing with almost all of it, and it makes me wonder if that was because I actually agree with his politics or if he just has good speechwriters.
