i'm getting my ears stretched again today.. up to 4g.. how exciting. i'm almost there. it'll take longer after this, though, because this is the farthest i got before.. and had to go back down to 6 because i am an idiot. oh well ( Read more... )

there is such a thing as clear plugs and long sleeve shirts....you might want to bring that up also.....

not to get on your bad side, but just playing the devil's advocate -- don't you think it's a little immature to demand that other people be cool with/accept your modifications? not everyone is as open minded as they'd like to think, and to agree with your dad -- having obvious modifications is going to decrease your chances at a "nice" job, as well as hinder your ability to get car/house loans, etc. i'm not saying what you're doing is bad or wrong, it's a way for you to express yourself, but.. if you're tired of the comments, why did you get such obvious mods in the first place? if you don't want people to stare and make comments, why give them something to talk about? for example, if a punk has a mohawk, (s)he has it because (s)he wants it and doesn't give a fuck about what other people think or say. if (s)he is bothered by those comments, the mohawk usually goes ( ... )

for the last time.. because this DID semi-get on my 'bad side'.. as far as the rest of the world goes, fuck them. i do not care what they think about me. as a matter of fact.. i don't really care all THAT much if my family approves or not. it's my body, and my life. i am well aware of the fact that i may regret the things that i do at a later time, but i have decided to, at this moment, live my life to what i feel is the fullest by doing these things that i may not ever have a chance to do again.

i am tired of the immaturity and comments that come from my parents, and that is all. to people that are not exposed to things like that on a daily basis, i have come to expect stupid comments. but from my parents, who see me EVERY day.. i consider it extremely immature to just continue harping on it, over and over and over again.
