Following my own advice, here is what I did Saturday night at my 1929 wall street crash party. thanks to everyone who came out, it was so much fun! I was all worried no one was going to show up and by 11, my living room and kitchen were so full, people could barely move!!

i'm sorry i missed this, i went out of town for the night.

are you bemoaning your dividends? dividends only go down in value if the board of directors order it. the value of the dividend isn't tied to the market value of the stock. :) so you'd actually be happy about your dividends in a bear market as they'd kind of be a guaranteed income (unless the directors are assholes).

but yeah, good times it looks like.

I wasn't trying to fight with anyone... You make a good point about bankruptcies. I'm not sure what happens to dividends on a stock that is worthless.

I liked the expired and unusual drinks, foremost among them the Gracie Malt beverage. I didn't mind the Fanta either, but I've had the San Pelligrino version of that flavour, so it wasn't so bad for me.

The sushi was good too. Eating straight wasabi was maybe not the most enlightened thing I could have done though.
