Started back in 1963.

Flash forward 45 years.

I think it's incredible that the theme to Doctor Who is.. well, still the same theme! Not many things from 60's television hold up that well.. like say the original Star Trek theme, which was asstacular if you ask me. Totally thrilled with the BBC's revival (what is it about reviving old '60's shows: Star Trek: TNG, the Doctor, what's next: Gilligan's island? Oh wait, that's Survivor....)

And part of the catch for us KUED types IS the theme music, isn't it? You hear it and you're instantly transported, just like the whooshing of the TARDIS.

I haven't gotten into Dr. Who yet, but I have both seasons of Torchwood on my ipod. :-)
