Men may choose to rule amongst themselves in any way they please; unicorns have no care for such things. That said, I have encountered more than a few kings in my time, and though some of them were indeed noble men, others had hearts as greedy and grasping as those of the people they meant to have dominion over. I know this much, then: being ( Read more... )

Welcome back, Lady Unicorn. Your points are well made, and all too true in my experience.

It's wonderful to hear your dulcet tones once again, O Unicorn. The world is a far less dark place, knowing that you still are in it.

Hello, Unicorn. I believe I owe you some questions? Would you still like to have them?

Hello, Trickster.

I cannot promise that my responses will come swiftly as my mun manages to waste an astonishing amount of time considering she is mortal and therefore doesn't have much time to begin with since I mean to consider my answers most carefully, but you may question me whenever you like.

1. If you were able to choose to be human again, would you?
2. What was the thing you liked the most about being a woman?
3. What is the thing you like most about being a unicorn?
4. Do you ever dream? What of?
5. What is your favorite pasttime?

And, of course, you may ask me questions, if you wish, m'lady.

Hello, Unicorn. Do you remember when we spoke of my son? I wanted to tell you that he's been found and I will soon be with him again. I thought it might make you happy to know. I am happy.

Of course I remember. I have thought about you, here in my lilac wood, and wondered about your son. It gladdens me to know that he has been found, and that you will be happy together -- for I am certain that you will be. Even if it doesn't last forever, the unicorn thinks, a little sadly, though this is a sadness she is well used to.

We are, yes, though I have made some choices lately that have made me less than happy, or at least confused. But mostly happy, because the joy of having my son back overshadows all else. For now anyway, but then I'm sort of in a dreamworld at the moment. I wish I could stay here.
