well honestly i don't really know what to tell you. i think it's just the way people in weymouth are i wish it wasn't but it seems like it is. i think that people have been let down by those who they start to trust so they can't trust others in return. well i mean that's sort of what happened to me i guess. i broke away from my safe little "shell" where everything was fine to try to expand myself and become a better person. i gave all my trust, hopes, dreams, aspirations, etc. to someone that i thought would do the same to me. i believed that nothing could go wrong b/c in my mind everything was perfect. then he turned around and betrayed me in one of the worst possible ways. now i'll confess something to you john i grew to love him, and i really mean that. but now i don't think that i can trust someone again with my feelings i'm just not open to it anymore. and i'm guessing that this is what happens to everyone. they put a little faith in something they think they can trust and that will flourish. but then it becomes one of the

that's really a good way to put things, one i didn't necessarily consider. fear of being let down/rejection is a key in most people's minds, no one wants to feel those things. after feeling that happens, a chain reaction really can occur, it's depressing to think about. it just leaves absolutely no room for expansion, it's too bad. i'm sorry that happened to you, and i can't say i totally know what it's like, but i'm sure it's awful. don't let that stop you, though, over time everything will heal. there's some greater meaning to everything, and there's a lot to be said for experience. i think i can promise that brighter days will eventually be ahead. something will be done. we can't sit still forever. thanks for the support, i'm always here too. -john

Thanks John, i think you are right about a greater meaning and even though i don't see it now,i guess i will someday. and i guess the things that we experience can only teach us and be a warning for the future. i hope better days come for all of us, we must all work together on this or else it might not work. i think we can all just be a little more optimistic even if we don't really feel like it b/c if we show people that we are okay, then they might see that they can be "happy" too and it will reverse this chain reaction we are calling it. you are right we can't all sit still forever. forever is just too long. -jessica
i'm not sure exactly how much this lived up to any expectations i set with previous posts leading up to this, but i don't think this is the conclusion to it, either. i appreciate the lengthy reply, regardless
