GOSH. I loved the faun. AND HATED HIM. I think I called him a bitch about 17 million times.
SPANISH! If it was in English, it wouldn't be as good (or, really, make much sense XD). I sort of wish there wasn't subtitles, because I think I may have understood it, but my eyes couldn't resist reading them :/. AND THEY TRANSLATED WRONG. "España de Franco" got made into France's Spain. I WAS CONFUSED AS HELL, and I thought they were talking about French bread or something. I DON'T KNOW XD. COME ON, IT'S NOT THAT HARD, FRANCO WAS RULING DURING THAT TIME, HUH?! GOSH. And I think they also changed Cerrano's name to Serrano at the end, too. Maybe not, though.
It was a nice mix of real life and fantasy, and I loved the end, with the faun and the Captain and the guerrillas. Actually, it was all just awesome :x.
AND THEIR MANDRAKES >>> HP'S.
One question though: why did the faun and the book and all use the vosotros tense with Ofelia? Does it have to do with her being a princess, or something (the royal "we" or sommat :P)? Vosotros scares me :X
