DAMNIT!!! The one time of the year that I really relaly really enjoyed being in Okinawa more than the other times...and I missed it totally. Even though it's going to be later and happen this week, there's no way in hell anyone can make it.

So no Tug-of-war for me. This blows

To be fair, we also missed out on the Harvest Festival as well as Yukka nu Hii, and it's that latter one that ended up really pissing me off personally...I miss the dragon boat races...
...And while you and the others might not personally care about them as much, but thanks to Ojii-san's shaman priest roots, the annual Shinugu and Shiimii rituals were always big deals for my family and I missed out on those as well...

....Though I suppose, if we wanted to, we could always just have an Okinawan style Tug-of-War deal here in Tokyo~~ Maybe we could talk the Mainlanders into joining us~~
...Because I really...don't need to be at home just yet...It'll start me early in thinking on things I don't want plaguing me yet...

You do like those a lot. I think they're cool, but not a cool as Higa kicking ass every ear when we choose what side to play on.

I guess those would be pretty big. Couldn't you have done the rituals here? I mean it's not the same and all, but that way you don't have some pissy spirits reaming your ass for forgetting. Though I'd laugh if they did and help them kick your ass.

I think quite a few might join us. The rest of them are dumbasses that don't know how to have a good time.

Yeah...I know. ....Hey man...you know I'm...here for you, right?

But that's the thing...We always know we're going to win when it comes to the Tug-of-War event...Makes it kind of less exciting because of it...

Technically, I could've...but they're considered family and community-based rituals...So doing it by myself does little good when I'm not with my family or the other priests and apprentices, nor anywhere near the family tombs, in the case of Shiimii...Though honestly, I'd be ecstatic if Toutou-san chose to show up to try and kick my ass......Because at least I'd get to see him...

A lot of them are retarded big city folk who don't understand the appeal of pulling on a rope...

...Yeah...I know...

That's because there was that one year that we split up...I kicked your dumbass instead of ancoring the rope like I usually do.

I guess. It is pretty du,b to do that shit here. Wish it wasn't though. I know. I'd just keep the other dumbasses away, somehow

Then let's show them how it's done.

Not just you that's bummed, senpai. D: I was thinking about going down for it but I got assignments dumped on me all due this week.

But Chinen-senpai's idea seems fun~~ Bring it to us~

That sounds like a plan. A giant tug of war. I'm all for that.

You can always tug on my...no. I'm not saying that.

Listen to Hiroshi for once. I'm sure plenty of people would want to join in.

well, it's a tradition, The biggest guy always tried the last rope around him and stood at the end to keep the other team from pulling the rope too far....

You won't join us?
