A realization of what's to come.

So I have now added a new movie to my "favorites" list: Amelie. Stunning perfection. And Audrey Tautou is beautiful (in that mischievious, lonely, secluded girl kind of way - as per her part in this movie). If I had a girl like Amelie...well...life would be complete ( Read more... )

amelie is defenetly in my top ten. its perfect.
i wenr in an Audrey Tautou craze, cause she has like 5 other movies at blockbuster (she's like a foreign goddess) but noone matched the beauty of amelie. Infact, one of them in the worst movie i've ever seen.. me and briitta cant get over it. but i suppose its not really her fault.. the roles she gets?
anywho, if you're into foreign films, theres this hillarious movie called "samurai fiction". its like 3 hours long but amazingly well done.
tell me how it goes if you ever see it.
igning out-

thanks, I'll look into it. There's a Japanese film that I saw parts of before a while back on HBO. It's called Kikujiro and I've been meaning to rent it...from what I did see of it, it was quite comical, yet sincere.

Ahh, foreign films are excellant! I haven't seen many - but the two that I have seen (Rangeela - an Indian film about that kinda has the same premise as that of Disney's Aladdin only instead of a princess - the thief falls in love with a girl that strikes it famous in the movies, and "Run Lola Run" - a German film that loops through the same scenerio again and again where a girlfriend tries to save her her boyfriend (a lacky for a criminal organization) from being killed) were good IMHO.

Ohhh and I just check the merlin.vcpl.lib.fl.us (the Volusia Couty Public Library System - my library). and they have Kikujiro!! Now, I'll probably go borrow it next weekend when I'm back in Deland (if I can get caught up with my backlog of homework O.o). Well, see ya in Statistics class.

Hey man! Agreed, Run Lola Run Was a very good movie...the premise was an interesting one, although after the 2nd run-through it got a little silly. Nevertheless, it was a well-made film.

AHH!, don't take Kikujiro! Well actually, you might as well, seeing as I don't have a card to that system or to Orange County. Which reminds me....probably should do that this weekend (just moved up here this summer).

See you in class man.
