In an old building across town, a little girl is curled up against the Doctor, half asleep. So her response is a little drowsy, and very minimal. Don't worry, she'll wake up pretty quick.

Sleeping is... good, all possible conditions considered. At least is seems, from his distance, to be a fatigue-sleep and not a wounded unconsciousness. But still...

He brushes against her mind, giving enough of himself to impart a sense of presence, to offer a sense of stability. And then... doesn't say anything, because he's not sure what can be said.

There's a rush of recognition, and April's eyes fly open. She doesn't move, because... well, moving hurts, generally, and she's found a position where the pain is significantly less than most other positions.

:: !! :: It takes her a moment of relieflovegrateful to get coherent, because... well, it's good to be able to talk to people. She'd tried to find him, but she'd just been so tired that she couldn't quite get that far.

:: entity{Vesmier} is.response{appreciated}{welcomed} Where's Julian? Are you coming to action{help}{rescue}{assist}? :: It's a strange mis-match of linear thought and full concept-pidgin, but it's at least understandable.

:: We will find a way, :: the Vesmier promises. If it means letting Torchwood provide cover for him as he walks flush in and takes apart Thane's mind, he's not willing to leave them there, and Torchwood is at the point where they'd almost certainly agree to such a suicidal plan. He was honestly hoping that stage wouldn't be reached this soon.

But... he doesn't have a plan yet, and he's admitted as much. Torchwood doesn't. And walking in now is an invitation for more people to suffer and die, which the Doctor has stated they need not to do.

This isn't the Vesmier's preferred arena. He's out of his depth, here.
