I felt like a man, a real man shopping for womans clothes haha. It is my mums birthday today and I thought I would do something special for her....even thou I have only 40 pounds to my name I felt like I should treat the old woman. So I walked into town with my wages and was going to get her something small but then I walked passed Javelin, and thought why not. I walked in and it was packed, and not in the mens section, I walked around the mens bit for a while to see if any of the ladies would go away....but they didnt. So I desided to just go for it and start looking at womans clothes. It felt weird, good, but in a strange way. All these girls were looking at me as if I was going to wear whatever I picked up, which I found funny. But then you got a couple that saw it really sweet that I was buying for my girlfirend or something. So a couple of smiles came my way. Anyway I found this top, thing about Javalin clothes there either really frilly or plain, and my mum dosn't really like either of them so it needed to be something special. So finally I found it, I think it is really nice and would suit my mum down to the ground.
I also liked the bow at the back. After walking around for a while I thought it was the one, and I didnt really like the rest. Haha thing is my mum dosn't really dress like someone of her age, she dresses like she is still eighteen or something, which is ok sometimes, she's a ageing young hipster! So it was like shopping for my sister which I'm quite good at. I'm sure I am actually better at dressing girls than I am myself, which is scary. Anyway the top seemed to go down well with the lady at the till and I spent all but ten pounds of my money. As I looked out the door it was pissing it down, I mean really fucking dropping it. So there was two choices to be made, first I could stand here all day and wait for it to stop, or run to the card shop then home. So I desided on the second one, I got completly soaked on the way to the card shop and brought her a nice box to put the dress in and a card which didnt fit in the box which I wasn't happy about but in all it looked something like this.
Then I ran back as quickly as I could but still got soaked. But I realised something. Javalin bags are a life saver, they have like a thing at the top so you can shut the bag up so no water can get in so I put the card and box in there with the top and when I got home everything was dry, appart from me, brilliant!
Anyway I'm going to get dried up and try and post my supprise for everyone up on you send it thing.
