"We've got him."

The world is going to hell.

And my family's going with it.

Peaches.

It's not Saddam Hussain we captured. It's Father Christmas.

Almost as mythical.

Personally, I disregard the notion of him as the world's most dangerous person. I think he's just an old man, tired, redundant, exhausted. They should have given him the option of suicide, told him they would have done a Hitler ("We found his body...it's all over") and let him put a gun to his head and leave this mortal coil still with some dignity about him. There's no need to torture him, torture his family, investigate everyone he ever talked to, just to get back the weapons the US sold to him in the first place.

There's some real bloodlust around, and I genuinely feel quite sorry for him at the moment.

He'll be tried in Iraq, found guilty, and executed, and the war will all be over.

Oh, wait. No it won't.

I was going to say my thoughts on this, and then I remembered where this was.

As much as I love to debate, let's leave Ginger out of this. Not to be mean to you, Tim, or anything. I just know she doesn't want to get involved anymore than she already is, and I don't blame her.

But...those pictures of Saddam look remarkably like my English teacher last year.

I think the US should have shaved hem and given hem a proper cut and than released his photos. I am glad the war is close to an end, everyone is, but they shouldn't have demoralised hem like that.

First, I want to thank you all for your support. It's been a rough couple of days, but, meh. Bush is going to do what Bush is going to do. Second, I can't discuss a lot of what I know, or what my dad is or isn't involved in, etc, etc. Please, if nothing else, respect the fact that all I can tell you is my dad is safe. Third, the war is not over. It will not be over anytime soon. The soldiers over there are not going to be sent home early just because they got Saddam. When and if Saddam is tried and/or executed, regardless of where, the war will still NOT be over. Fourth, I don't give a damn about Saddam, but I do have strong feelings about the Bush administration and my father so feel free to say what you wish, so long as it's not nice things about the former or mean things about the latter. :)Fifth, I think we should have a Congrats-For-Getting-Yourself-Reelected,-Mr.-President party. Say, Friday at my place?

Once again, thank you all for the support. I love you.

(And Jamie? You rock.)

You're entitled to your opinion, of course.

And I think it makes sense, even if I don't necessarily agree.

Who can't love a liberal media?

Peaches!
