Once a king or queen in Narnia, always a king or queen

1. Name: Bridget, a nice mix of old and new things.

2. Date of birth: October 26,1985

3. Location and all the places you've lived: Only in Northeastern Pa. All around the Scranton area.

4. Reason(s) for joining this community: I love The Chronicles of Narnia I learned how to read on them and they’ve always held a very special place in my heart. It seems like whenever something big was happening in my life I was reading or reading the series.

5. How many of the books have you read? All of them at least twice.

6. Which book(s) are your favourite? Least favourite? Why? My favorite was The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe because it was the first one I read. That book got me hooked on the whole series and on reading itself. It opened a whole new world, not trying to be funny, up for me. My least favorite was The Last Battle because it was the end of everything. I hate real endings like that and when I was first reading it all I could think of was that now there was no way for me to be whisked away to Narnia the way the other characters had been.
7. Who are some of your favourite characters and why? Lucy and Peter have always been my favorites. I loved how brave and kind they both were. I also always loved Reepicheep for his bravery and loyalty. I also thought he was one of the funniest characters.

8. Who are some of your least favourite characters? Why? Jadis always scared me, whether it was just her or she was the White Witch. She was so cold and cunning. She really just didn’t care for anyone but herself and that always bothered me.

9. Your occupation in life: I am currently in collage to become a history teacher in a high school.

10. What are some of your interests and hobbies? Reading, writing a bit, researching things that interest me and working towards my goals whether they be club or academic wise.. . I love to read. I enjoy Harry Potter, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Charlie Bone series, historical fiction/and well just history books, Sherlock Holmes and I love to read things that I can learn about other cultures and countries from. I also like comic books and graphic novels. I love movies. I adore Pirates of the Caribbean and Monty Python and the search for the Holy Grail. I love comedies. I really enjoy watching old black and white films. I love anything with Audrey Hepburn. I like things that are controversial. I like to be made to question and think. I like chocolate and just sitting down and hanging out with my friends.
11. If you had a choice between ending the world or saving your entire family, what would you choose? Why or why not? [If you choose to let the world live, then you're entire family would be slaughtered slowly and painfully.] A tough question. I dislike a lot of my family however I would not want them to die and suffer. Ether way people die so I guess to make sure at least someone was saved I would save my family.

12. Let's take it back to Adam and Eve basics -- would you eat the apple? Why or why not? Anther tough one. I love knowing things and I’m very curious. However I am also very loyal. I think in the end I’d be too afraid to eat it. I think I’d stare at them a lot but I would be too afraid to see what would happen if I ate it.

13. What are some of your main pet peeves? Close-minded people. People who don’t do what they say. When things you say are twisted.

14. What is your heritage? [Not that this has any bearings on what or who we stamp you as, Narnia Rating doesn't discriminate. We coo' wit all y'all colors.] LOL. Irish, Slovak and a little bit of British, thrown in just to confuse, American. Mostly Irish though.

15. What era do you wish you were from, or ever dreamed about visiting? You ask this of the history major, oh Lord….umm…I would love to visit the Middle Ages, The Renascence because I would love to see all those wonderful things being created, The first colonial era (16-1800s), during WWII in Europe and the 1960s here. LOL, sorry that was so long and broad.

16. If you were a ruler of a formidable empire, but there was another kingdom not so formidable in battle but higher in power and rank, would you be content to live under them? Why or why not? It depended on of they were going to try and take over my kingdom? Are they trying to repress us? Steal my people? Take away what my people and country have worked to cultivate? If they are a good neighbor and do nothing to harm us then sure I have no problems living under them. However if they aren’t playing fair. If they are trying to push my country around then no I would take action against them. I never want my people to lose their rights.

17. Is it sometimes okay to cheat in games and sports? Even just a tiny bit, and the captain of the other team cheated worse than you'd think was possible to get away with? Why or why not? I think it’s always possible to get away with. No I don’t like cheating. I like level playing fields where everyone has the opportunity to shine.

18. What kind of books do you like to read besides the Chronicles? What are your favourites of these books? . I enjoy Harry Potter, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Charlie Bone series, historical fiction/and well just history books, Sherlock Holmes and I love to read things that I can learn about other cultures and countries from. I also like comic books and graphic novels. (from above)

19. Name a few of your favourite movies. Pirates of the Caribbean and Monty Python and the search for the Holy Grail. I love comedies. I really enjoy watching old black and white films. I love anything with Audrey Hepburn. I like things that are controversial. I like to be made to question and think. (again from above)

20. Give yourself a label, even though we hate them. If you had to, what would it be? (ex. preppy, punky, goth, weird... etc.) Ummmm…I never really had one. I’m kind of a mix. I guess I’d be a geek though.

21. Name a childhood hero and why they were held as such.. Joan of Arc was my favorite because of all she did. I mean she was really just a kid herself and she accomplished so much. I also really liked her because what she did was real, she may not have really heard the voice of God but she made a huge difference in the world even though she was one small person.

22. Pick five words to describe yourself: Caring, witty, clever, loyal and dedicated.

23. Name three of your strengths and three of your talents: Leadership abilities without overpowering others, good work ethic and I make people happy. I’m funny, I can sing and I’m a great researcher and organizer.

24. Name three of your weaknesses and three things you suck at: Low self-esteem, I fear losing everything, I sometimes have trouble seeing why people won’t just do things the way I do them because I think my way is best. I suck at math. I’m not very good at making graphics. I’m not good at letting go of grudges anymore.

25. Give us a few of your favourite quotes.
Paul Varjak: They're not the kind of stories you can really tell.
Holly Golightly: Too dirty?
Paul Varjak: Yeah, I suppose they're dirty, too, but only incidentally. Mainly they're angry, sensitive, intensely felt, and that dirtiest of all dirty words - promising. Or so said The Times Book Review, October 1, 1956.
-Breakfast at Tiffany’s
Holly Golightly: He's all right! Aren't you, cat? Poor cat! Poor slob! Poor slob without a name! The way I see it I haven't got the right to give him one. We don't belong to each other. We just took up one day by the river. I don't want to own anything until I find a place where me and things go together. I'm not sure where that is but I know what it is like. It's like Tiffany's.
Paul Varjak: Tiffany's? You mean the jewelry store.
Holly Golightly: That's right. I'm just CRAZY about Tiffany's!
-Breakfast at Tiffany’s
Holly Golightly: You could always tell what kind of a person a man thinks you are by the earrings he gives you. I must say, the mind reels.
-Breakfast at Tiffany’s
Richard: You really like it, don't you?
Gabrielle: What?
Richard: Life.
Gabrielle: Oh! Every morning when I wake up and I see there's a whole new other day, I just go absolutely ape!
-Paris-When It Sizzles
Gandalf: My dear Frodo, Hobbits really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about them in a day, and yet after a hundred years they can still surprise you.
-LOTR, The Fellowship of the Ring
Faramir: I do not believe this darkness will endure.
-LOTR, Return of the King
Witch King: You fool. No man can kill me. Die now.
Eowyn: I am no man.
-LOTR, Return of the King
Merry: Are you going to leave me?
Pippin: No, Merry. I'm going to look after you.
-LOTR, Return of the King
I have others but this is already getting too long. Sorry. I have a lot of favorite quotes and a lot of them are dialog.

26. All right, this is your one chance to bribe the mods into getting stamped as whatever you want and state something wonderfully complimenting about one or both of them. >:) I am sure our beautiful, intelligent and talented mods are far above bribery. They are so fair-minded and logical that bribery simply brings a slight quick to their prefect lips.

27. Anything else we've forgotten? Not really. Just thanks a lot for taking the time to read this. Sorry it’s so long.

28. Here, please attach at least three clear pictures of yourself [unless you don't have any].
