Spill words are the things people "just" keep themselves from saying. Like it's on the tip of their tongue but they know it will get them in trouble so they don't say it.

Ilsa sometimes does not watch her shields the way she should, especially here, where she hasn't had the ability to screen out people. Tiffany might be able to hear the spills even if Ilsa is actively shielding, considering they were taught in different methods.
