... 134, 135, 136, 137.

Odd. Bollocks.

I don't feel good about living in a flat with an odd number of kitchen floor tiles. I just don't.

We need to fit another one in. I insist. Or move. Either one.

Maybe I miscounted, though. I'll try again.

Moving seems a little drastic, don't you think? Why don't you just...draw a line down the middle of one of them and count them as two separate tiles?

Well then they'd be the wrong size, and still one tile. Do I look like a total moron?

Oh no, no, it's not that! I just thought that might be easier...

I-If you cut them all down to half size, then they'd be even, right? I think. I've never been good with math.

And what if one should crack into three pieces instead of two?

It's just... wrong. I don't like it.

It's not a night or two, it's the principle of the thing!

Deary, do rest the night before you think of moving, hmm?

Someone did say that, but then they mentioned cracks, so now I've got to worry about the sodding cracks.

Poor dear. Did you try taking a nap?

Nah. It's fine, though.

But if we move, there's a very good chance that one will have an odd number of kitchen tiles, too.
