I've heard it said, however, that the deity tributes might be part of the reason for the memory loss-- or, rather, the lack of offering them. I realize that the end of the month is fast approaching, but perhaps completing them in the next couple of days would be able to yield results?

Well, yes. Most of them aren't that easy to completely.
