Crashing the party had almost turned into an impromptu lynching, and didn't make Blues feel more comfortable about the wierd 'multiversal nexus' he'd found out about.
The place already seemed to be a playground for Wilybots, though the no-violence field had them in check. Worse, there seemed to be some alternate of himself who could only be described as 'less than sane', if what he'd heard was true. It make him think of Darkman all over again.
All together, the Nexus posed a whole new set of potential problems. Which meant that Rock had wanted to go and check it out. That had not gone well. The alternate had shown up, and Blues had seen little to make him less suspicious of the other's sanity or lack thereof.
Rock had gone back after a few explanations about alternates and the nature of the Nexus, but had returned looking even more upset than he had been from the first trip.
(Best to get this started even though we still don't know how badly Blues almost gets lynched at the party. ;) )
