Dropped some people who I haven’t seen a post or comment from in one or more years…I figure if it has been that long it probably isn’t going to happen…so what’s the point in waiting.
hey, Ron, i'm gonna be in seattle from Saturday to the following Thursday or Friday. 6/26/10 - 7/2/10; kind of a last minute decision to visit my brother who went there to become a pro chef, and hopefully make it to Dale Chihuly's studio.
i was wondering if you might be up for a wing or two; no pressure. call if you want 408-772-2494. i have no agenda, just wanted to say, HI.
i hope you're well and that you know of a good irish pub.
First, thank you for the invitation. Truthfully I haven’t yet found a “real” Irish pub yet, but part of the reason is that when I was unemployed I didn’t have the money to go looking, and now that I am I don’t have the time (feast or famine it seems). There are a couple of good places I can recommend you check out though.
If you are in the Capital Hill area you could try Charlie’s (not Irish at all, but a good pub) or Canterbury Ale and Eats (English inspired, also a good pub).
If you want to head over to Ballard you should stop in at The Old Pequliar (Irish themed but not quite the “real thing”, good place though
