At first I read "Mixed manly Valentines-themed stock"... Would have worked too ;)
Flowers + pink is gorgeous!
Special #1 makes me think of the scene in "You've Got Mail" where Meg Ryan puts a rose in her book. Clever way of illustrating romantic fiction!
Hope things are well with you. Making the most of the gloomy season I'm catching up on shows, films and books whenever I can and challenging myself with Pilates.
Hey you! Thanks so much for your kind words, am thrilled you like these!
I'm good thank you, but RL has been insane - we have had the most mad and weird start to 2016 but I'm gonna need to make a post to explain all that... which I keep meaning to!
Good to hear you are having a busy 'gloomy season' - such a good way to put it! I keep meaning to try pilates, do you like it?
Yes do try Pilates! It's bloody (pardon my French) hard work but you'll notice results very quickly. You'll feel stronger. And taller. It was first developed as a method of rehabilitation (of soldiers) and often it is discovered by people with a bad back and professional dancers are regulars, But anyone, especially those hunched in front of a computer during office hours, will benefit from it.
I've understood that as Pilates has grown in popularity gyms have started to offer it more widely, but what you want is an original instructor. If you end up in a class with breathing and stretching exercises, nice but it ain't the original, real stuff. I do steel Pilates and I (that is my muscles) love it once we've realised that it won't kill us. My comfort zone is a 90s plank and 100 push-ups/the Pilates famous 100 . Don't worry if everything hurts in the first couple of weeks when you climb out of bed in the morning after a Pilates class, it'll go away.
