Where and when did you start rping?
Well, I always used to encourage my friends to 'play rabbits' with me, because I was obsessed with Watership Down as a child, but really I started RPing on IRC with Rey, Shiri, et al. Which was awesome, because they were people I knew and trusted and whose writing I already adored.
Do you rp anywhere other than lj?
I've tried a few email games with people met on forums, but the style is different and my attention tends to wane quickly. I'll do crack games with friends on AIM, but I find it too rushed for anything serious. Mostly I RP in notebooks with Rey, Shad, or Morri.
Do you play in any public games?
Yes, but I'm a slacker and rarely post lately.
Do you prefer first-person comment spam or prose logging?
I can take either as long as the comments are sufficiently involved to give me something to respond to, and conversely, the prose logging isn't pages and pages of filler that makes responding awkward.
What was the first character you ever played?
Bridie, a sweet little medieval healer and pyrokinetic.
Who's your favorite character to play now and why?
Courtney. I keep coming back to her. I go through character phases, really, but this phase has lasted a while. Her personality's close enough to mine to make her easy to play, but different enough to make her interesting.
What's the longest you've ever consistently played one character?
Uh...I rarely completely desert them, but maybe seven or eight years?
What's your biggest rp pet peeve?
Pretension. Just because you're in x game, played your character for y years, have awesome icons or can write a wall of text, it doesn't make you better than someone who plays a different style.
I also used to get very annoyed when characters my pup was attached to would disappear. But since I've done plenty of disappearing myself, I no longer have the right.
Do you read rp secrets and the rp anon meme?
I do not. I might if I had the time.
If you've played in public before, do you prefer community based or journal based games?
Community-based, I think. It makes it easier to have things centrally located than to have to chase all over your flist to find out what someone's referring to.
Would you rather play with someone who's very very ic but a mediocre writer or someone who isn't always ic (but not terrible) and a great writer?
IC. Always IC. I do not care how well you write. Great writing =/= great RP to me. RP is an interactive game. Writing is a private art.
Do you have a "rp partner"?
I have lots. Rey is my primary RP source, because she's easy to talk into what I want. ;) But I have online pals that I like to play with, too.
Do you ever stalk any casts, games, or players? who?
I'm not much of a stalker. I don't have the kind of energy it requires.
In your opinion, which part of an app is the most difficult/annoying?
Describe/link your best RP thread. I don't know how to pick, and a lot of it depends on the person/people I'm playing with.
Are you one of those people who has to customize their character's journal layout and userinfo?
Not really. I have a little with Courtney because she's been around so long, but normally all I care about are the icons.

Generic RP Tavern on IRC.
Are there any canons you avoid tagging characters from?
Anything too popular makes me edgy, because people get all fired up about something, pour tons of energy into it, get you all excited, and then something else gets their attention and the character goes away.
Most memorable scene in any thread?
I just said I hate this kind of thing on RP apps. I don't feel like answering it in a meme.
Do you rp sex?
Yes, but I've gotten more circumspect in later years. I used to be all, "whatever, it's just RP, don't even bother locking it". Now I only go explicit with Rey or Shad, although I'll fade to black with other friends.
Do you play more males or females?
Females. I have a decent balance, but I have an easier time with female characters.
What won't you rp?
I don't have any problem with bad things happening to my characters, but I prefer that they not be the perpetrator of anything too horrible. And I'm a little circumspect about rape, self-mutilation, and suicide. Touchy subjects that can be done well but are just disgusting if they're done badly.
Dressing rooms: yes or no?
Enh. Never played in one, don't care to, but I don't hate them.
Ever rped a pairing?
I have no idea what this means.
Favorite place to play: musebox, open posts, public games, private games?
Open posts and public games, I guess. Or in notebooks at restaurants.
Talking rp with someone else who plays your character: fun or awkward?
Awkward at first, but if they're a nice person it can be lots of fun.

1. I will give just about anyone a chance, RP-wise.
2. I prefer artwork to photographic PBs.
3. If it's a photo PB, I prefer someone unknown to a celebrity. Unless you're playing a character out of a film and using the actor as a PB.
4. I get very annoyed by introductory posts that are all about how cool a character is or how deadly an assassin they are, etc.
5. I have a problem with metagaming. I try very hard not to do it, but sometimes I can't help myself.
6. I wish people played more non-humanoid characters, animals or aliens. Just for variety.
7. I'm very quick to embroil myself in lots of RP threads, then panic when I can't keep up with them all and run to hide offline.
