You know it's just possible it has nothing to do with you at all, but with the writer recognizing their own tendencies? Dunno.

I think you've had to alter and adapt Courtney a little because you've been playing her so long and through so much. It would be unrealistic if she wasn't shaped by that stuff.

I kinda see that you're in the same trap that I am. A fresh, brand-new person or fan of the respective series could look at either of our main pups and go, "....Wow, this person is out of their tree, so-and-so is NOTHING like that," and not take into account there's about three years of RP behind them. Playing the same person forever is impossible. If you want it to be realistic, they have to grow and/or change.

But I don't think it was a dig at you. Probably their own pitfalls they were worried about in writing her. Since this Courtney's for a completely terrible different game.

Well, I'll take her word for it that it wasn't directed at me. But yeah, it's hard to stick to a canon personality while still developing the character. I guess I look at Courtney myself and go "AUGH, she's nothing like that in the books!"
