It's fun, reading all these responses. =D Btw, I'm Hitherel from MF.

Favorite character and why?
Zero. What I like most about him is that he's kind, despite all that life's thrown at him. He doesn't like to show it openly, but he cares and that 'hidden kindness' is something that's survived much pain.

Favorite pairing and why?
Zeki. I'd probably repeat much of what the others have already said if I try to explain. But simply put, I love the equality between the two. And that there's a strong friendship and understanding that serves as a foundation to romance.

How'd you get into VK?
I was looking for good mangas and saw VK on a lot of rec lists. I started reading and enjoyed the Zeki interaction enough to continue for the next 3 years or so. XD

Preferred ending?
Zero and Yuuki together, working in a society that is slowly but surely moving to realize the ideals of coexistance. Kaname either dead(if he becomes the main villian) because of the weight of his past burdens or facing that baggage and letting it go.

Favorite Character and why?It's hard to choose between Zero Kiryuu and Touga Yagari! Ahhh! Touga is my fantasy and Zero is such a sweetie! Both are so sharp and no-nonsense business boys. Zero has those lilac eyes touched by the moon and Yagari has that eye patch with those eyes the color of blue flame! Zero's background is so tragic and his attitude is valid. He's not just some brooding jerk without a reason to be. Touga is such a sarcastic lone wolf. He's totally willing to step up and he doesn't just bluff in a fight. Also, the fact that he doesn't always follow the rules is also hawt!
Favorite Pairing and why? Zero/Yuuki without exception! They are so deliciously thick with that bittersweet sexual tension! Aside from the fact that Yuuki's character growth is constantly propelled in Zero's presence, both characters have such a natural connection. It's like... both of them just can't help but think about one another. It's almost like instinct. Also, they are the Romeo/Juliet pairing that isn't supposed to happen (two characters ( ... )

A little about me...uhm...Vampire Knight was one of the first few manga that I read and is still one of the few I follow religiously haha XD

Favorite Character and why?
Zero, he is one of the only main characters who hasn't done anything to majorly piss me off or put me off the story, when things seem dire in the story he is why I continue reading as I find him to be a very interesting character and I love to find out more about him.

Favorite Pairing and why?
Zero and Yuuki xD It's the only pairing that makes the most sense to me and has done from the start. It's not force fed and we have seen it develop.

How'd you get into Vampire Knight?
My ex boyfriend was very in to anime and when the anime series came out he suggested I watch the first ep, after watching the first ep I was hooked and went on to find the manga reading all that was available at that time in about a day or 2 xD Since then I have read it every month

Preferred ending?
Zero and Yuuki together and leading the new co-existence between human and vampire.

Favorite Character and why?

Zero. I love how strongly he feels things, and his tragic past -> hate of vampires -> hate of self always appealed to me.

Favorite Pairing and why?

Zero and Yuki. It seemed obvious to me from the start. They have a relationship of equals. He is protective of her, but never controlling.

How'd you get into Vampire Knight?It's a pretty funny story actually! Nearly a year before I even got into manga and anime, I was shopping with am anime obsessed friend friend and saw a poster of Kaname. I stared at it for ages and then said, "He's beautiful." My friend glared up at it and said, "You'd probably like him, he's in love with his sister." Ouch! (We were reading some books with a brother/sister pairing at the time and I enjoyed the forbidden side of it ( ... )
