I am feeling helpless when it comes to helping a client/friend

One of my clients just found worst case results from her amnio. This is her second pregnancy...she miscarried the first. She is four months pregnant and they JUST started to tell people. She found out she was having a girl, and was thrilled, they gave the baby a nickname. Now she has to terminate the pregnancy. Heartbreaking on all accounts

I had to terminate a pregnancy at 18 weeks, as like your friend my test results showed that the baby I was carrying was actually dying & IF I made it to full term the baby would not live long after birth.

So I made the choice & did it & boy did I carry around the guilt for a long time. But I;m glad I made that decision now, life is hard enough, without adding to it.

Whatever your friend decides its her choice & I'm glad I'm not in her shoes.

Thanks Jackie. I don't wish for anyone to be in her place. It is so horrible. I cried all night for them.
