be careful which one that you choose

Hello, Livejournal! Welcome back to me. It's been a while! I went on vacation. I didn't have my laptop for almost two weeks solid (how did I survive those months without one, again?) and even went so far as to -- gasp -- turn Twitter off for the better part of a week. It was nice, the pretty much total disconnect ( Read more... )

like the rifle, turn off the idiot box!

I'm so ridiculously in love with Dean being Michael's vessel that I can hardly stand it.

This season is going to be so epic.

If the show wanted to do something to thrill me to death, that was a good shot.

MAKE ICONS.

Oh, also I had a total point to make that I forgot about. Why does Bobby not have the anti-demon possession tattoo? It makes no sense.

I WILL!

Yeah, that seems so odd. I guess since the apocalypse has begun, it's possible the demons on Earth are slightly stronger or something now? Maybe they overpowered him?

YOU'D BEST! I have like two SPN icons and they're both Castiel. /o\

Shoving it in the face of the national television audience -- the vast majority of whom do not know about the intricacies of fandom -- is rude and childish.

Oh my god. THIIIIIIIIIIIIS!! I had my initial knee-jerk !!!!!!!!!!!!!! moment and that was quickly followed by slapping my hand over my mouth in horror for the next five minutes. I felt kind of... mocked? Or just that he was seriously crossing some sort of line that was really really really not meant to be crossed. Because really, what percentage of fans are in an actual internet fandom? I felt like my privacy was mildly invaded.

6. I LIKE THESE QUESTIONS. Though probably the Dean-Not-Understanding-Angel!Cas-Talk is a plot hole.

8. OH MY GOD, THE RIB-CARVING LINE. THE WAY HE SAID IT. SO THROW-AWAY. IT WAS SO GREATDeeeeeeeeeeeeean! I lovelovelove Dean. And sadistically love that he is not going to forgive and forget so quickly, because dude, watching the fourth season I was totally thinking that their brotherly relationship was undeniably altered forever. And I am ( ... )

Oh oh oh oh and I forgot to mention the awesome that was Misha Collins' name in the main credits as a starring role. :D

I watched the episode again with my mother and she was so confused. She didn't say anything, but she got all scrunchyfaced, like, 'wtaf is up with this random-ass incest-obsessed girl?' /o\ Oh, Mott's. Mott's like no other.

I was talking about it with queenofhell and her viewpoint is that since Dean's likely a Special Vessel (intended specifically for Michael), he might only be able to understand Michael's speech. We'll see, though.

YES! Castiel's just like, 'yep that's right I am totally awesome'. So nonchalant! Love it.

Oh my GOD, that show. So fucking terrible! So bad! Nothing redeeming! Good Vampire Brother is really unattractive, Bad Vampire Brother needs to learn some new tricks (seriously? threatening someone with fog and crows?), and. Yeah, just. What? I don't caaaare about this shooooow.

I know her only from Californication, where she played a character that is everything I hate and yet managed to charm me so thoroughly that I actually bounced in my seat and clapped when I read the casting spoiler for her as Meg. I enjoyed her performance a lot and am really excited to see more of her as Meg! \o/

CASTIEL IS THE MOST BADASS OF EVER, ILHIM. &MISHA;

Also, Dean being Michael's vessel is so cool. And as for your questions, I figure Michael is an archangel, so he's on a different ~frequency to Zachariah and Castiel and the other angels we've seen. Dean can't hear Castiel's true voice but maybe he's attuned to Michael's frequency? Or maybe not! Maybe it'd be like Nick with Lucifer, and Michael would have to come to him in a dream rather than physically to ask his permission.

IDK, I'm coming up with anything to patch up the plotholes, is any of it sticking?

I LOVE CASTIEL SO MUCH. ;____;

My first reaction was "OMG DEAN IS MICHAEL'S VESSEL THAT'S SO COOL". Second thought? "Oh thank fuck there wasn't some random-ass holy sword that Papa Winchester found." Anyway, re: plot holes, I'm not suuuure. It doesn't make sense to me that Dean's such a special vessel but he can't understand a foot soldier's speech. I guess you could argue it'd prevent a lesser angel from taking possession of Michael's vessel. I don't know that Lucifer had to appear to Paul as an apparition, either, I'd just argue that it was what would be most effective given that he's not just some random angel trying to convince someone to let him do God's work, he's the devil, yo!

But these are all minor, nitty-gritty type plot points. The real thing I am focusing on is: DEAN IS MICHAEL'S VESSEL! CASTIEL IS BADASS! THIS SEASON IS GIVING ME TINGLES!

HI YOU!!! *squishes so infinitely*

Yesssss. Castiel is definitely putting his big boy britches on. Or something that sounds less stupid. I'm glad that the concept is making you happy! It was pretty much tailor-made to capture my whole entire soul, so. :DDDD

Poor Niiiiick. :( I read someone talking about how he gave in really easily but quite frankly I probably would have, too. Epic :(((((, srs. The logistics of the meat suit thing is pretty interesting, especially with the idea that it might somehow be connected to the doctrine of free will. It seems to me that angels physically can't take possession of an unwilling host, otherwise I wouldn't see why Zachariah would bother asking Dean. However, the implication that I've picked up on is that Zachariah is running the show and misinforming all the foot soldiers, so it's possibly unclear how much Michael even knows. IDK IT'S ALL SO FASCINATING. *ROLLS AROUND GLEEFULLY ( ... )
