Katelyn, the 17-yr. old toxic-shock vic I asked you guys to pray for a few weeks back, walked in w/her mother a moment ago to thank us for fixing her. All her parts are working and she's expected to make a full recovery.

I'm working tonight when one of my favorite field EMTs, Tasha, brings in a patient. I hadn't seen her in a couple weeks, so she gives me a big bear hug and, in a fit of hyperactivity, picks me up a few inches off of the ground.

"Geez!" she exclaims. "Whattya weigh, like 160?"

I'm gonna go eat something now...Lotsa something.
