THIS EPISODE WAS SO FLUFFY, I JUST WANTED TO CUDDLE WITH IT.
Firstly, what exactly is the timeline here? (And as an aside: how long does each season usually span? A couple of months?)
This had to have taken place after the season two finale, because Pete mentions H.G. trying to blow up the world, but he also talks about H.G. positively - which he doesn't really do at all during the entirety of season three. (Also, I think Claudia mentioned Steve once, so sometime during season three sounds right).
All I'm trying to say is that for him to talk about H.G. as though he's okay with her, it has to be after she saves the Warehouse from the explosion, because he definitely did not like her before then.
I'll just chalk it up to inconsistency on the writers' parts.
Needless to say, I love that Pete kept on bringing H.G. into the conversation whenever they could. Even Myka noticed.
Pete: I know there's an exit here. [MacPherson] used it to smuggle out H.G. Wells.
Myka: Why do you keep talking about him?
Pete: No, H.G. Wells is a woman. You guys were best pals. She gave you a grappler.
SEE?! This is probably just fanservice from the Warehouse crew but even Pete knows about the grappler! I like to imagine that he and Myka talk about their respective ~girl problems~ during their rides to and from the airport (and probably on the plane, too).
I also like that we started out with S1 Myka, and ended up with something closer to S3 Myka. And I like how Pete notices this and is always pleased with himself, whether Myka slugs him in the arm or tells him to be quiet.
I just really enjoyed this episode. It was silly and made me laugh.
Thoughts, flist?
