Let's discuss The Good Wife 4x05! SPOILERS AHEAD.

Not in any order whatsoever:

01. So, is anyone else shipping Cary/Clarke Hayden? Because I AM. SUPER HARDCORE. Also, Cary looks really good in that hoodie. (PS: Why is he wearing a hoodie to work?) I may have been checking out his pecs. My lesbian card may need to be revoked; see how many fucks I don't give!

We got some other good shippery moments in the show: Kalinda/Alicia (with the "mom" phone call, and the other phone call that Nick thought was with Lana), then we also got Cary/Kalinda, and of course Lana/Kalinda (even though the last one broke my heart).

02. Clarke may be growing on me, but Kalinda's husband is definitely not. At least it looks like he's off and away for good.

03. SO MUCH KALINDA/LANA. BE STILL, MY HEART. Okay, first off: I'm still confused about how chummy Kalinda and Lana are with each other, given where they left off last season, but now I'm more sure that that's just how the two of them roll. I don't think they know how to have a functional relationship with each other (or at least in Kalinda's case, it seems like with anyone).

That said, I think Lana has genuine feelings for Kalinda. Yes, I remember how insane she was last season - but look at her face here, and also here when Kalinda declares that there "isn't any us". (Whether Kalinda actually does like Lana is debatable, in my opinion. I don't think she thinks of it as anything other than occasional sex). There's no reason for her to fake that emotion. Also, she's the only one who consistently notices that Kalinda's really not all right.

It makes me wonder what Lana really has up her sleeve - if she actually is keeping tabs on Kalinda for some reason that will be revealed to us later, or if that photo Nick had of Kalinda and Eli was just something Nick scrounged up to make Kalinda doubt Lana. I think the former is more likely, given Kalinda and Lana's relationship, but I really wish it weren't.

Speaking of Kalinda/Lana, that cable van scene was amazing. Just LOLworthy in so many different ways.

Also, I don't know how Jill Flint manages to be so hot every single episode she's in. Like, seriously. Her hair is flawless, her face is flawless...

04. I'm sad about Maddie. I was excited for her BFF-ship with Alicia, which now I guess will be nothing-ship.

05. Somehow I found myself feeling sorry for Lemond Bishop. The impossible has happened!

Your thoughts, flist?
