We just hit Texas today. There is certain sadness all over post Katrina. Infact, in our motel in Athens, Texas (just near Trinidad, Texas) there is several New Orleans Hurricane victims staying. Sobering thoughts are aplenty and our feelings of homelessness are pathetic in comparison

Well, I guess that's Texas for you. Regardless, I'm disappointed that I won't be in Austin for your next show; I'm from Austin, but currently reside in Chicago for graduate school purposes. I attended your last Austin appearance in June, however, and was quite impressed. Anyway, several of my friends will be at your show, so do keep up the good work. Oh, and by the way, is there any chance you might be playing in Chicago before you leave the states?
