Define marriage.

The legal classification as certified by state and federal governments.

An act/law just passed on AR that makes it illegal for couples who are not legally married to either foster or adopt.

Because, you know, we have so few kids in need of adoption that we can afford to have fewer people available.

I also disagree with that. I believe children should be brought into stable loving households; whether that household has two parents or one, whether they are married or not, whether they are gay, straight, Catholic, Baptist, Muslim, Jewish... none of that matters so long as the child is loved and cared for.

Our children need us to help them become who they are, and they need us to love them while they discover that. Making laws like the above are baseless and in the end do more damage to all parties involved.
