so i got invited to join phi beta kappa, and i feel really good about this because i didn't go through college focused on the goal of winning awards or excelling at anything besides enjoying myself/learning for myself about things that interest me. i never made a choice to take a class or involve myself in anything because it would "look good"

Lauren, I love you so much. This made me blush a little bit. Summer and the rest of our L.A. lives is going to be fantastic, your presence is the city really cancels out a lot of the stuff i wouldn't like about LA. talk to you soon :)
