dresses dresses everywhere, but not a thread to own

I'm looking to buy a dress to wear to a friend's wedding (first week of September), and so far I haven't found so many things I've liked.

I *almost* liked this dress: it's purple, it's "swingy", it compliments my skin tone, and it's the perfect length...
