Hell yes - I definitely think you should ;) - tell him Aristotle would have dug it!

I was honestly surprised to see so many ancient dramatic conventions echoed/represented in Evil Dead II. But when you thing about it, it kind of makes sense. The Ancient Greeks loved formulaic plot-lines - they liked knowing what to expect. Horror is nothing if not formulaic and in many ways even predictable.
